First Boudoir Studio
2018 was the year my dreams became reality
By Catherine Cooper|Published September 25, 2026

2018 was the year Catherine Cooper Photography (my boudoir studio) opened its doors, and I still get a little emotional looking back at it. Let me show you why.

“These women chose me to create their beautiful memories.”
I photographed 132 women in 2018, at my first ever boudoir studio. I'm not able to gather them all together for this blog post. Some of them would like to remain a secret (and that's okay). But putting this collage of photos together made my heart melt.
These women chose me to create their beautiful memories, and I will always be so grateful for that. Thank you to every woman of 2018.

What the Deep Ellum boudoir studio is today
The studio is still right there in Deep Ellum: a private loft at 4140 Commerce St, Suite 202, Dallas. One client a day, and the whole day is yours. You get your hair and makeup done, four looks, and posing guided from start to finish. Then you take a break and grab lunch in Deep Ellum while I prepare your photos, and come back for your private same-day reveal.
And that secret part? Still honored. Every woman you see here gave me written permission to share her images. If you'd rather stay a secret, you stay a secret. Period.

Final thoughts
To every woman who walked up those stairs in 2018... thank you. You built this studio as much as I did.
If you've been wondering what it looks like inside, [here's the whole day, start to finish](/experience), or [see more of the photos made here](/portfolio).
